Jeanie Marie Buss has been an American Entrepreneur for more than 20 years. She is the owner of control of the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association and currently is the president of the organization. Buss is a native of California and was raised as part of a wealthy family. Their father Jerry Buss was a real-estate tycoon who later became the proprietor of the Lakers and other sports businesses. When her parents broke up in 1972, she believed they'd left her. She joined the family business at the age of 19 to become the general manager for the Los Angeles Strings tennis team. The team was later renamed in the Los Angeles Blades, a professional roller-hockey team. She first served as vice-president of the Lakers before she assumed the position of president of Great Western Forum. Buss and her siblings, five siblings and brothers as well as their father, who owned the Lakers and ruled them until the time of his passing away in 2013, received this ownership through an estate. Each of them enjoyed equally the right to vote. Buss assumed the role of the president of the Los Angeles Lakers. Buss runs Women of Wrestling in Los Angeles the organization which is a pro-wrestling organization.
